Retirement quilt project #10 |
Have you heard of
Craftsy.com? They have great quilting classes, as well as cooking, needlework and crafts. I quilted this "practice quilt" using what I learned in the Continuous Line Quilting class.

I made this king-sized Ohio Star quilt for us. I quilted it in two halves and put them together at the end, according to instructions in a Craftsy class. I don't expect to ever make one this big again, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Kaffe Fassett Garden Trellis (RQP#12) |
I saw this advertised as a kit and loved the vibrant colors in the Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I'm not totally in love with the finished project, but it was fun to do and I practiced free-motion quilting.
Below are birds for Morgan.
Love them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ty! I have an idea in mind for Mira.
